2. Job Listings and Applications

2.1 Job Listings

Employers are responsible for the content of their job listings, including job descriptions, requirements, and other details. All job listings must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including anti-discrimination laws.

2.2 Job Applications

Job seekers are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their applications, resumes, and other materials submitted through our Services. By submitting an application, you authorize us to share your application materials with the relevant employer.

2.3 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee that job seekers will receive job offers or that employers will find suitable candidates through our Services. We are a platform that facilitates connections between job seekers and employers, but we are not responsible for employment decisions or outcomes.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

3.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Services and their contents, features, and functionality, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, and software, are owned by Fraser Coast Jobs, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

3.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use our Services for their intended purposes, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

3.3 User Content

By submitting content to our Services (including job listings, resumes, and applications), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content in connection with providing our Services.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Using our Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or application materials
  • Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity
  • Interfering with or disrupting the operation of our Services or servers or networks connected to our Services
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of our Services or any other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to our Services
  • Using our Services to transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, or other items of a destructive nature
  • Collecting or harvesting any personally identifiable information from our Services
  • Using our Services to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam)
  • Engaging in discriminatory practices in job listings or hiring decisions

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

5.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fraser Coast Jobs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our Services.

5.3 Third-Party Content

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or reliability of any information or materials posted by users or third parties on our Services. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms and Conditions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Queensland, Australia.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the updated terms on our websites and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms and Conditions.

Your continued use of our Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using our Services.
